Welcome to Melissa Loves Needlepoint. I am Melissa MacLeod, a lifelong stitcher. I learned how to stitch at the age of seven, in the back room of the shop that I now own, The Wool & The Floss in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI.



Since purchasing The Wool & The Floss in 2017, the business has grown exponentially with tens of thousands of customers from across the US. In 2025, I founded this wholesale needlepoint line as a way to expand the brand in a new direction.

As I start this new venture, I look forward to working with my shop owner friends across the country in a new capacity.
